Construction is part of my family’s history, and it has shaped the standards I bring to Caliburn Contracting.

My grandfather, Donald Myers, established Altman-Myers Construction in Miami in the early 1970s. He later founded Myers Construction Group alongside his sons, including my father, Ralph. Their work included schools, medical facilities, churches, homes, commercial buildings, and heavy industrial projects throughout South Florida. I’m proud of their contribution to the communities they served and the reputation they earned along the way.

What stays with me most is the example my father and grandfather set: take pride in your craft, treat people with respect, keep your word, and take responsibility for your work. Those principles guide Caliburn today. I carry that heritage with me while bringing my own experience, judgment, and determination to the company.

As a Floridian, I take particular pride in building in the communities my family has called home for generations. I’m grateful for the opportunity this country provides to work hard, build a business, and contribute something lasting. My Christian faith guides how I treat people and make decisions, and being a husband and father keeps me mindful that the example I set matters as much as the work I complete.

I believe a builder needs both skill and resolve. Construction brings challenges, and I value the willingness to stay engaged, have the difficult conversation, and work through a problem until it is resolved. That is the approach we bring to our clients and project partners.

We put those values into practice through careful planning, straightforward communication, quality workmanship, and follow-through. We respect the investment behind every project and understand that trust is earned through our actions—from the first conversation to the finished work.

My family’s history means a great deal to me. I wish to honor it by building a reputation of my own and delivering work that my clients, my family, and I can be proud of.
